Custom bandana design has become very popular since 2019. Kicked into action by the Covid-19 pandemic, bandana production saw an all time boom starting in 2019 and going into 2020. The roll of Custom Bandanas Printing has not stopped since. You’ve got a lot of importers out there that are bringing in bandanas from overseas and selling them inexpensively to companies and organizations. We however are an American manufacturer of bandnas. We are offering #1 Custom Bandanas Printing right here in the United States.
The top 3 differences in our #1 Custom Bandanas Printing vs imports
#1. Our bandanas are square
What you say? Yes we know, bandanas are supposed to be square, but when you look at some of these imports, they are simply not square. While you may be asking yourself, how bad can they be. I’m telling you, it’s bad. Watch this video.
OK, so you get it now. How can they possibly be square, if this is how they are being made. Don’t get us wrong, we’re not saying that hand made products can’t be high quality. But when you are pulling fabric as quickly as possible through a stationary pair of scissors, there are bound to be errors in squareness. Needsless to say, our bandanas are cut square with the help of computer automation.
When you design a nice looking branded bandana, you are typically making that design a square. Think forward to what it will look like if you put a perfectly square piece of artwork on an imperfectly square imported bandana. The results is … it won’t look good. In fact, it looks cheap, and cheapens your brand.
#2 Our bandanas are made with high quality soft fabric that is not completely see thru
You’re not going to want to use an imported bandana for a privacy shade, that’s for sure. Our bandanas are 68/60 weave with a 100% cotton broadcloth fabric. They won’t block out the sun, but you won’t be able to see trees through them either.
There is a reason why imports are less expensive. They aren’t square, and the fabric is not great fabric. If you want a promotional quality bandana because you are handing them out like flyers, you might not care that you can see through them like tissue paper. But if you want something that is high quality that you are going to put your brand on,
#3 We use water based inks to print your design
Most screen printers print with a plastic based ink called plastisol. It’s literally “liquid plastic”. There is nothing wrong with using that ink when you are printing t-shirts. T-Shirt designs are printed on the outside of the shirt facing away from your body. It’s unlikely, unless you enjoy wearing your shirts inside out, that the print will touch your skin. If a plastisol print were to touch your skin you would notice that it’s scratch and rough.
Since bandanas are often worn around the head, face or neck, it’s highly possible that the print will come in contact with your body. That’s why soft, environmentally friendly water based inks are the right inks to use on bandana prints.
Most of the companies that offer imported bandanas, are printing them with thick and rough plastisol ink. The reason is that they aren’t bandana manufacturers like we are. Their primary business is T-Shirts. But when you use t-shirt ink on a bandana, the results are suboptimal. Also not to mention that the maximum width and length that most t-shirt printers can print is 18″ x 16″. That means that they can make a 16″ x 16″ square print. Since bandanas are 22″ x 22″, you really want a 20″ x 20″ print, leaving just a 1″ border. Most t-shirt printers can’t do that for you. That means they print small, scratch designs on your custom bandanas.
