Typically the most common way to get custom bandana prints is with screen printing or sublimation printing.  With screen printing, colored inks are used over silk screens to apply designs to the blank bandanas.  Sublimation printing works differently because it behaves more like a heat transfer.  In sublimation, special dyes are used that get converted to a gas when subjected to a sublimation press.  The gas then bonds with the fibers of the bandana and the result is an awesome, high definition print.  Depending on the ultimate look and feel that you are going for with your bandana prints, that will determine which method works best for you.
