Designed Bandanas
One of the most prolific American icons is the bandana. Invented in the 17th century in Asia, the bandana was adopted by early American’s as a symbol of the mid west. Originally 20″ x 20″ silk fabric hemmed around the edge, today’s bandanas measure 22″ x 22″ and are made from 100% cotton. While the traditional designed bandanas were adorned with paisley patterns, with a little imagination and some skill in desktop publishing software, you can decorate designed bandanas with anything you would like.
Here at BandanasOnline.com we offer our customers the ability to craft high quality, reasonably priced custom bandanas with their logo or design. We use traditional silk screen printing methods, but advanced ink and dye sets to offer sharp and crisp prints, and super soft feeling. Since bandanas custom or otherwise are worn on the head or on other parts of the body, it’s important that they remain soft and flexible. Regular screen printing inks are stiff and scratch and are not ideal candidates for high quality bandanas. We use water-based inks and dyes to give crisp popping colors and little if any feel.
If you are not an artist or don’t have access to art resources, don’t worry! We have online bandana design templates that you can download for free to get you started. We’re also happy to have a phone discussion and design a bandana for your project. We work with companies of all sizes and have a low minimum order of just 12 bandanas with a 1 color print.
